Welcome to the fundraising website for our VBHS Varsity Girls Flag Football team! We're a group of passionate athletes dedicated to representing our school with pride, determination, and skill on the field. Led by our experienced coaches, we train hard, push our limits, and strive for excellence in every aspect of the sport. From mastering strategic plays to honing our agility and speed, we're constantly working to elevate our game and achieve our goals. As student-athletes, we understand the importance of balancing academics with athletics. We're dedicated students who excel in the classroom and take pride in representing our school with dignity and respect both on and off the field. However, to continue our journey and compete at the highest level, we need your support. As we strive for success, there are various expenses associated with equipment, travel, and other essential needs. Your contributions will not only help us reach our fundraising goals but also enable us to pursue our passion for flag football with determination and enthusiasm. Join us in our quest for victory and help us make our dreams a reality. Together, we can achieve greatness both on and off the field. Thank you for your support – we couldn't do it without you! It's Great to be a Fighting Indian!

Head Coach

Coach Kappler has had experience in both tackle and flag football. I started off with the Cobras at Fort Pierce Central where I was an assistant. I overtook the Flag program in 2016 and proceeded to lead them to their highest win totals in program history in back to back seasons culminating in their first district championship appearance resulting in a runner-up trophy. Upon arriving at SLW Centennial high school in 2018 I served as the Offensive coordinator and assistant coach as they saw a two game improvement from the previous season. In 2019 I became the head coach of the Eagles and we made it to their first district championship and runner-up trophy. In 2020, our season was cut short due to COVID and shutting down of on campus activities. We had our best season ever in 2021, setting all kinds of program records, winning our first district title and advancing to the regional playoffs. We posted our first double digit win season behind strong showings on both sides of the ball (9 straight shutouts on defense in the regular season.
