Defensive Coordinator

I will be entering by 29th year coaching football at Centennial the past 25 as Defensive Coordinator. I have coached 32 years in total. I grew up in Norco playing Football, Basketball, and Swimming where I graduated from in 1986. I also played football for RCC and was a part of their National Championship team in 1989. I graduated from Cal State University San Bernardino with a degree in Kinesiology and received my teaching credential from National University. I taught one year of Math at Sherman Indian High School, then 3 years at Santiago before transferring to Centennial in 2004. I have taught Math and PE since that time. Without the love and support of my beautiful and supportive wife Lisa, coaching wouldn’t be possible. We have 6 kids that we are very proud of. The 3 Boys, Tyler (30) is a police officer in North Carolina. Buddy (29) is security for a Jewelry Company in Orange County. And James (21) is in the Navy, stationed in Virgina. The 3 girls, Ciera (27), working on her elementary teaching credential. Cheyan (24), working on her secondary credential and coach Girls Flag Football and Girls Basketball. And the “baby” Danielle (8) who is going into the 3rd grade and will be cheering for the Corona Chargers this year. My hobbies is spending time with my family, whether that’s going to Disneyland or swimming in the backyard.
